Justify your response. From the second e-Activity, describe the fundamental effects that a positive social climate exerts on substance abuse among students in school. Suggest at least two (2) ways, in additional to forming a positive social climate, that the society can help students avoid the use of drugs. Provide a rationale for your response.
Drugs have always been on the high priority lists in schools. Though drugs testing had been administrated to athletes and students participating in various sports events, others have not been subject to the same.
According to me every student whether he competes in some sports field or not should be tested for drugs randomly. It is on the schools to take up this issue on a serious note and ensure that drug testing is carried on and if students are found to have tested positively, parents need to be informed about the same.
It is not fair to exempt the non athletes from drug testing as drugs are a social menace and it is very important that these tests have to be administered despite claims that drug testing should be banned in schools.
